    Since 1954, Japan’s ODA has contributed in resolving social challenges faced by developing countries. On the other hand, many Japanese companies remain domestic despite possessing excellent technologies. EPI supports the use of Japan’s finest technologies and expertise to resolve global development challenges, giving Japan an international presence.

    • Fuel transition in the industrial sector using LNG-import facilities

      EPI supports projects involving the development of LNG-import facilities as a starting point for constructing natural gas pipelines in the industrial zones, enabling successful fuel transition and carbon emission reduction.

    • Introduction of combined-cycle gas-turbine systems and provision of comprehensive O&M support

      EPI has comprehensively supported the introduction of combined-cycle gas-turbine systems in a country mainly relying on coal. This support ranged from introducing such systems to O&M capacity building.
